Using on an amplifier I'm guessing would put it near vibrations / soundwaves and could change it's thermal conductivity. As long as whatever you're transfering heat to is secured by screw mounts, or some sort of bracket to hold the thermal conducted parts together, I don't see why not. But again, reach out to Corsair regarding this!
