A:AnswerYES.. INSTALL OEM WINDOWS 10 PRO....... Windows HOME has a difficult time keeping the drivers working. Audio drops out EVERY SINGLE TIME I use VR. I have to go to settings and although it sees the device it wont work until windows does a diagnostic and re initializes the drivers.
I use this computer for 3d content creation work and it constantly locks up. My 4 year old Auroris with a Nvidia 1070 Ti handles VR and 3d better than this computer. 3070 GPU runs at 100% and slows to a crawl when i try to use it in unreal engine, making it almost unusable........ Absurd that my 4 year old computer with half the specs out performs this one.
I did not buy a $3200 computer to play PAC MAN on.
It has been my experience using VR and 3d content creation on a daily basis, that a clean install of Windows 10 PRO without any bloat ware will solve these types of issues. This is especially true of Nvidia drivers. For some reason windows home always seems to loose or confuse the video and audio drivers if anything beyond basic use is attempted. The drivers are there but somehow get lost in the instruction set and don't load, usually requiring a reboot, or trouble shooting scenario. If for what ever reason said program is exited, the driver is lost the next time the program is launched. In 3d content creation this becomes a real hassle and slows productivity to a crawl.
As this computer is sold as "gaming computer" it is worth noting that the Steam game engine suffers this same exact driver issue as well, EVERY SINGLE TIME A GAME IS LAUNCHED the audio drivers have to be trouble shot and "repaired" by windows.
And yes I have heard from computer technicians that it doesn't make a difference, that pro is for networking, BUT IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN BOTH DRIVER RECOGNITION AND EXECUTION. I had a tech load home on my old computer and then proceed to tell me that my video card was bad because when the driver loaded it kept crashing the computer. I installed win 10 pro OEM, and poof just like that.. problem gone.. video driver card worked just fine. IN FACT THAT COMPUTER OUT PERFORMS THIS NEW ONE.
So it wont be long before this new computer gets wiped and win 10 pro installed. if you want this model to excel ditch the preloaded win10 home version.

A:AnswerYou can use a monitor of your choosing, it would require either an HDMI or DP port. For the cooling, it's a close system and sealed which does not require maintenance. Please feel free to reach out to our Support team if you'd like further assistance: support.corsair.com
