The motherboard web page says Supports DDR4 3866+(OC), but I am aware of some using 3000 memory. The 2400 is DDR4, so it should work. Just be careful on overclocking slow memory. It might need extra cooling or it could become unstable or become damaged. I am running this memory in my newly build AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen 3800X system, but hat to flash the BIOS as it kept locking up in BIOS if I had more than one chip installed on the motherboard. It turns out the problem was not the memory but was compatibility with the CPU. After the flash, all went well. Has been 4 days with no issues.
