If your motherboard takes DDR4 Memory, it should work. We just built a PC from hardware at Best Buy and started to build an Intel system but we discovered the game development software we use says to use AMD as it benefits from it's architecture and pipeline. So we built one, but still used an NVIDIA video card. We did have to flash the BIO because the CPU was a 3rd Gen and the motherboard was a 1st and 2nd gen motherboard. It kept locking up on bootup when going into the BIOS. We had to remove 3 of the 4 memory chips and then flash the BIOS. After that we put in all 4 chips (64Gig total) and after several days of updating and installing software, we have had zero issues. In test between the2400 and 3200 memory, the difference has been anywhere from 5 FPS to 25 FPS difference. This means the system running 2400 memory would have 235 Frames Per Second and the one with 2300 memory had 255. The price difference was that we would have 64 gig of the 2400 or 32 gig of the 3200, so we went with the 2400 DDR4. Again, we believe the BIOS flash was due to the CPU, not the memory.
