We should refer to your printed manual for the motherboard of your computer. There will be a section on adding memory that should have the memory specs and capacities allowed for the motherboard. Look on the manufacturers website for a pdf version of the motherboard manual. I expect hp.com/support or something similar, google helps here. The pdf document for your HP computer motherboard (mainboard) should have a secion for the RAM or perhaps a table with RAM requirements. We should location those for your motherboard and compare that to the RAM chip you found on Amazon. This is what I did when I shopped for a new motherboard, RAM, and NVME drive.
