“I bought the 1499.00 ibuypower pc from here that says it's upgradable to 128gb of ram but currently only has 16gb. Are these the cards I need to upgrade or do I need non-ecc?”

If you have the same IBUYPOWER units as I do, with the Z490, OR Z490 PRO Mobo, then YES, these will work !!! I installed & upgraded the ram from what it came with, some (generic) 16gb 3000 mhz ram ( I gave them to my son who has the Z490 mobo) and works fine, Now he has 32gb, @3000, and mine has the Z490 PRO mobo, I up'd the ram in that using these to 3200 mhz 4x16gb = 64gb total ram... I also enabled XMP in the BIOS, and Viola, it runs GREAT !!! I'm also running and using the Corsair ICUE software. It has NO problems running it.

I would consult with a Geek Squad agent “they can still give you advice if you don’t have any type of protection plan or service through them
