• They need to be the same, the lower speed will slow the other one. If they work together at all that is. Could check to see if your motherboard supports the 3200 and replace/upgrade. Or just add to it the same as original

• Hello, Most likely, please only purchase what's listed in your manual's QVL as that'd list kits tested to be compatible. Do know that adding more memory to what's already installed may also prove difficult since the memory wasn't tested to work together. -Art
