• It would be a good idea to contact HP support and ask them if this ram is on the Qualified Vendors List for that particular laptop. That is what I did when I wanted to install the Vengeance ram in my HP 15 laptop. It works flawlessly and a lot faster as well. I upgraded mine from 4 GB to 16 GB.
