I haven't personally used HTRF sound in CS:GO but I have used the 7.1 feature and love it. If you don't want to use it is very easy to turn off in the CUE software. You just click a button the boom back to HTRF.

Not necessarily. The surround sound feature on the headphones only mimics the idea of 7.1, it isn't actual 7.1. That being said, keep HRTF on with the 7.1 to add to the sensitivity that both bring

Recently Corsair released an update for their app that made the void and steam incompatible.

In the setting software that you download from Corsair to adjust the RGB lighting you will have the ability to change th surround settings as well. So you can turn it off and let CSGO handle the audio formatting.
