Hi Stephanie, You can adjust the sensitivity of the microphone in your Windows settings. -Brian

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These headphones have decent audio cancelation because they are close to your mouth and very quiet. If you use Krisp with them, you will find all background noise is mostly removed, especially if like a vibrating refrigerator, car, etc. However, without Krisp you will find these headphones don't cancel much noise, nor do really any microphone. Even the 200$ blue yeti x has poor noise cancelation. Krisp however fixes this wonderfully but like all good things it does cost money. 60$ a year. Ive used it for a year now and I have no issues with background noise.
