Plugging in the headset made no difference for me, quality was just as good. Better than my $300 Turtle Beach.

It's sound quality is the best I've ever experienced, even when compared to beats by dre, wireless and over the ear. feels great, light weight. It's the perfect headset for gaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the corded versions of these Corsair headsets have better audio quality. I have the Void Pro wireless and it is definitely less clear than some of my cheaper, Chinese corded headsets. Still not bad, and still a great headset though.

Please try again later.Not always on some headsets, however, these headsets produce great sound and bass and performed better than me previous wired headsets (Logitech G430s and Plantronics Rig 505 lava), so if your worried about sound quality or bass I wouldn't be. Go for it.
