We recommend using a non-abrasive material to clean the baskets and soaking the baskets when the baskets are more difficult to clean to prevent chipping or peeling. The baskets are coated with a PTFE non-stick coating that is PFOA and PFOS free, and our products are FDA Certified. We hope this helps!
