• AT&T did need to release the phone. The SIM card from Best Buy didn't work. Cricket said that it was never marked as released by Best Buy and therefore couldn't be found in their. My mom wasn't able to resolve by phone or by going to the store; the store employee that she spoke with in the parking lot was unable to assist. No store hrs during coronavirus. Cricket supervisor had to mail out its own Cricket sim card, which we were then able to activate.

• No, you don’t need to unlock the IPHONE, CRICKET and AT&T are partners... if you need to port the number, you have to paid all (with AT&T).
