- Answer This phone is locked to Cricket and best used with the $25/mo. Unlimited Talk & Text plan or the $30 Unlimited T&T + 2GB data plan if you want to browse the web. Yes! There’s a web browser in this phone. Cricket will unlock after 6 months, but keep in mind that Cricket has great coverage and rate plans are pretty good.

QuestionCan I purchase the cricket phone for my mother & add it to my AT&T plan that she is already on. Her AT&T flip phone only goes to about vol. 6. She wears a hearing aid & volume is a big issue. Or is there a hearing impaired phone out there?

- Answer AT& T purchased Cricket. But you won't be able to add it on your plan currently. Cricket billing is seperate.

QuestionHow do I change the notification sound for text messages? When I change "notification tones" in the sound settings, it changes my alertsl, but not text messages. It also makes that same horrendous sound when I send a text. How can I take that off?
