• Not sure but I doubt it. I went from a Cricket Samsung to this one but SIM card didn't fit. But the transfer was easy and I didn't lose anything, just make sure contacts are saved to a gmail account to speed up transfer process.

• No, the phone is only compatible with cricket service, you would have to unlock it and there is a free for that, just try to find and unlock phone or switch to Cricket.
