Yes this is a pressure cooker and a slow cooker. I just got mine and my girls and I spent the evening experimenting with it. We love it!!!

However, it does not say "pressure cooker." Here's a bit of the narrative & you can go over to the detail and read the rest: "Crock-Pot has completely redesigned the Steam Release Valve mechanism for this model, which is an excellent safety improvement. All of the other models have a one-piece steam release valve which requires pushing on the ear on the valve to rotate it to the “Release” position. " I've used Crock Pot slow cookers of different models and sizes for 30 + years. They have always been excellent. Prior to that I used pressure cookers which were ancient. Also, have a sous-vide which I love! I'm currently trying to decide which "rapid/multi cooker" to buy. That's what I'm doing here and noticed your question had not been answered.
