• I also was intent on finding a stainless steel liner as a substitute for the included non-stick liner. I contacted customer care for Crock Pot and was referred to a parts company. They explained that Crock Pot often send buyers their way for parts, although they do not have anything like this. That was a dead end, and I have not found a stainless steel liner. I am returning the Crock Pot 8-QT Express unused.

• No, the inner pot is not stainkess steel for this brand.

• It has a non stick inner pot...I think this may be the reason I have never ha a "burn notice".
