QuestionDoes the lid have to be fastened during cooking? Most slow cookers the lid has a little bit of movement towards the end of the cooking cycle which I always supposed allows tiny bits of steam to be released.

- Answer No it doesn't. We cook with the lid sitting on the pot as with other crockpots. The fasteners are to prevent spillage if you need to move the crockpot or transport it when it is full.

Questiondoes it have an automatic shut off feature?

- Answer Crock Pot will go to keep warm then shut off after so long. As for the little dipper it doesn't have any way to set it low/high and no auto shut off. What ever you use it for you will have to keep an eye on it or it will burn.

- Answer About 2 feet long and from the the bottom. I can tell this crockpot is only the 2nd one I ever owned and it’s 100% better then the first. The little pot is a plus, 1st time ever made a cheesy dip, takes a minute to warm up but then it’s perfect

QuestionWhen I grabbed the handles of the crockpot to place it on my counter I noticed the bottom piece popped out. I was able to get it back in but when I lift the Handel's again it popped back out. Any one else ever experience this?
