Your question is hard. Technically since your buying it new. It is guaranteed not open. Now if you want to make sure go ahead and check it before you walk out the store your picking it up. Anyway Best Buy do offer an open boxes purchase at a lesser price if that helps it. For the return policy. It really depends on the item you purchase. My answer may not be helpful but some items I purchase or my husband do get return if it didn’t satisfy our needs.
