Not sure if you bought yours refurbished, Crucial warranties this product for 3 years.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Extrange, but could happen that the product is defective or what they call DOA dead on arrival. I suggest looking at the warranty and always open the product before warranty expires to make sure you get your money back if any issues arise. Sorry to hear that happed to you. For my experience I ordered and got it in 7 days, then installed it and it works perfectly fine no issues so far (knock on wood).

Between the original ship to the company, to a defective plate, and even exposure to a magnet. I have been using this hard drive daily since Aug 20, 2022, without a hiccup. I couldn't be happier with it, especially for the price. Best Buy has always been very good about handling any problems I have had with anything I have purchased.
