NOT THE COMPANIES FAULT THAT YOU TRIED IT TOO LATE, AFTER THE WARRENTY ENDED. THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT JUNK, JUST YOUR OPINION FROM BEING DISSAPOINTED. IF THATS THE CASE, THEN ANY PRODUCT THAT IS USED LATE AFTER ITS WARRENTY WOULD BE JUNK = FALSE CLAIM. BUT SORRY ABOUT YOUR POOR TIMING. BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

I suggest looking at the warranty and always open the product before warranty expires to make sure you get your money back if any issues arise. Sorry to hear that happed to you. For my experience I ordered and got it in 7 days, then installed it and it works perfectly fine no issues so far (knock on wood).

Between the original ship to the company, to a defective plate, and even exposure to a magnet. I have been using this hard drive daily since Aug 20, 2022, without a hiccup. I couldn't be happier with it, especially for the price. Best Buy has always been very good about handling any problems I have had with anything I have purchased.
