It does not include an adapter. This is not sold as an external drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is an internal drive. It has a SATA interface like all SATA drives, as it's a standardized interface. This drive would replace an existing 2.5" laptop drive (HDD or SSD). Some newer machines have a M.2 slot for the hard drive, which is basically a little chip/card. Some of those laptops have an extra place for a 2.5" drive like this one. If by adapter you mean a mounting plate to fit a 3.5" drive bay in a desktop, no it does not come with that. If by adapter you mean to convert this SATA interface to any of the various M.2 slots, also no-it does not come with that. (you'd be better off picking up a drive with the appropriate interface.
