• Pretty sure it will work on HP Laptop. I have it in a MacBook Pro. Put a similar drive in a Fujitsu as well.

Regarding your query of the SSD, we would like to inform you that the part#CT1000MX500SSD1 is compatible with the system 2016 17" HP Laptop but it is not compatible internally with MacBook Air (M1, 2020) system. However, if you want to connect the SSD externally to the Mac system then you can connect it using USB-2.5 inch SATA adapter so that you can connect through USB port.
