  • QuestionWhat is the difference between this and the P1? Link: Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe Internal SSD, up to 2000MB/s. I am assuming this one is better because it has the 2.

    Asked by Yeet.

    • Answer Thank you for considering one of our award-winning Crucial storage products! The P2 boasts improved performance (delivering shorter load times and faster data transfers) over its predecessor, the P1 SSD. (The P1 is now 'end of life' and no longer manufactured or sold by Crucial.) As with the P1, the P2 combines general performance with economical pricing. If you are looking for a higher performance drive, we recommend the P5 or MX500. (As always, please check to ensure compatibility with your system.) Crucial is happy to provide customer and technical support regardless of where you purchased the product. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. - The Crucial Team

  • QuestionWill this work with the Lenovo Legion 5? This picture is where the SSD is.

    Asked by Matt2022.

    • Answer This will work with your laptop but according to what I've seen for research you have a standard SSD drive 2.5 in. You will need some sort of cloning software to go from your standard 2.5 to the nvme. Or you can start fresh with it clean install by placing in this part instead

  • QuestionIs this compatible with MacBooks?

    Asked by Russ.

    • Answer Thank you for contacting us and for your question. MacBook Pro's utilize M.2 PCIe drives with a different connection than your standard M.2 form factors of SSD's. This means that part number CT500P2SSD8 will not work without purchasing some type of adapter/converter that will allow the drive to plug in correctly. We unfortunately do not make or sell any type of adapter or converter that will make this SSD work in your MacBook Pro.
