Will this work in an Asus Z170 Pro? null

Should work. Looking at the motherboard layout, there is an M.2 slot on the lower right of the board. I've attached a picture with the slot circled. It may not work with your CPU though. This is a PCI Gen 4 drive and PCI Gen 4 wasn't supported on CPU's that would fit in this socket. It's hit or miss on whether the BIOS on the board will be able to account for this.
