• Yes it is compatible. Read speed is aroung 4800 from PS5 well below sony's recommendation but it works flawlessly loading games. Moved MW2 and other games around 300+ gigs took aroung 3minutes. Playing games like MW2 showed no signs of issues.

• The two responses claiming that the speeds are not high enough are incorrect. the official PlayStation site does recommend a read speed of 5,500mb. However there shouldn't be any noticeable difference in load times at this speed.

• I would like to repor that it actually does work and works very well. I purchased the P3 plus 2TB during the holidays. After installing into PS5, it has read speed around 4800 well below sony's recommendation but I had no issues loading games (around 3minutes moving MW2 to the drive) or playing games off the SSD.
