Hello, We do not recommend removing the heatsink from the Crucial P310 SSD. Doing so may void the warranty and could potentially damage the drive. If your system already has its own heatsink solution, we also offer a non-heatsink variant of the Crucial P310, which would be a better fit for your setup.
