Get a decent USB-A to USB-C Cable and your drive will work at least at a 250-450 mb/s reads 120-200 mb/s writes. when dealing with a Slower usb 2.0 the writes will be about 20-30 mb/s reads and writes. yes numbers will be different, but i tried it on an old & new dell laptops and 30 mb/s is about average with most internal usb-a 2.0 ports. as for esata i don't have any converter to esata to usb-c to test, the internal ssds that are CHIPS look like drams are probaly incompatled (opinion) inclosed are standard sata baseD Magnetic connectors that ive used as far back as win 98s, in 1998 and run well over 300mbs. I no longer stock toshiba pc's to know the full nuance of the company but a cheap cable from usb-a to c is a decent investment since usb-c is prevalent in electrnics today like tour smart phone! download some pics and time it!

If your system has USB 2.0/ USB-A then this SSD will work with USB 2.0/ USB-A, but you will not get the advertise speed. This SSD is compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB port. If you connect the SSD with USB 3.2 gen 2 USB port then you will get advertise speed. The Team Crucial
