We understand the importance of ensuring that your devices are compatible with your car. We would like to inform you that while we do not have specific information about the USB slot configurations in your Tesla Model Y, the Crucial X9 Pro SSD is designed to be compatible with USB 3.2 and USB C slots. If your vehicle is equipped with these types of USB slots, you should be able to connect the SSD directly and use it without any issues. However, if your Tesla Model Y has a USB A slot, you will require a USB A to C adapter to connect the SSD. We recommend checking the user manual of your car or contacting Tesla directly to confirm the type of USB slots available in your Model Y.
