Is the casing metal? null

Metal on one side and rubberish-plastic on the other. Both sides seem perfectly fine. I have no complaints about the construction.

Remembered seeing this question and after receiving my order I can confirm it actually is metal not plastic as previously stated. Also according to their website Crucial states that it is anodized aluminum.

No. The casing is a durable plastic and the bottom has an anti skid quality to it. Good for sitting in place on a smooth surface. There is also a small hole to have a small linkage pass through it and attach to a host point, or even a keychain.
