- Answer Just wanted y'all to know that these come apart on purpose for easier sharpening and cleaning. That is why they easily go back together also. Hope that helps you enjoy them more. I know it says hand wash, but I separate the two pieces and put in the uppermost rack of my dishwasher, but I don't use heat dry.

QuestionHas anyone used these on Foodsaver plastic bags? It's hard to find scissors which cut that type of plastic.
