“Am I the ONLY person who had the CUISINART GREEN HANDLE SCISSORS C33SHR-8SU fall apart during first use? Not only one pair did this but I purchased a second set and they separated as well. See photos.”

Just wanted y'all to know that these come apart on purpose for easier sharpening and cleaning. That is why they easily go back together also. Hope that helps you enjoy them more. I know it says hand wash, but I separate the two pieces and put in the uppermost rack of my dishwasher, but I don't use heat dry.

Please try again later.On the back of the box, there is a description of each pair of shears and for the green pair it states: “Effortlessly cut everything from food to flowers with durable stainless steel blades that come apart for easy maintenance.” I have not used mine yet, but am looking forward to it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine fell apart during my pre-wash. Aka - before I even used them. I don't know if it was missing the black 'cap' which may have held it in place. Nonetheless, mine only had one of those, the other side - just metal, so there was no way it could have stayed together.
