mine sets on a counter with a cabinet above it. The unit itself doesn't seem to get very hot on the outside but it does blow the hot air out the back so it needs to be pulled out from a wall a little bit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this unit should not be placed in an enclosure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit doesn't get particularly hot. However, you do have to have enough space around it for ventilation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Owner's manual says do NOT use inside a cabinet or appliance garage. It also says not to use under upper cabinets. I solved that by using a piece of foil-backed styrofoam-tyoe insulation rated heat safe and cutting it to fit in the recessed part underneath (not inside) the cabinet with the foil facing down.. Doesn't show and protects what's in the cabinet from excess heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It gets warm but not as hot as my last regular toaster oven
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just as the other person said about using fpil wrapped around a certain type of styrofoam that was heat safe they could put safely UNDER their cabinet as they had found a way to do I'd go check with an appliance tech for how to do such things BEORE attempting to do so. I grew up with one we knew that would have been excellent help if he was still here, that is why I tell you this. Don't just Google info on how to.. Find someone in your community at a local business that does this and get their advice. It can save you time and keep your kitchen safe as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would ask the manufacturer.. I would think you need more air flow in that space..
