will this unit make toast and english muffins null

The unit is great for everything except traditional toast. This is our opinion after several rounds of toast making resulting in very dry toast. With that said, the drying out seems to be because of the distance between the heating elements and the toasting position. We find to get a medium toast shade, the toast is extremely dry due to the time it takes toast the bread. Think about how close the heating elements are to the bread in a pop up toaster. We wound up just purchasing a two slice toaster, dedicated to only making toast. Don't get us wrong, it does everything else great, but toast is not its forte . Still worth having for all the other great things it does.
