• When I’m making pizza or garlic toast, I take bottom tray out and turn heat at least 50* under from what it says on the box and also use the fan ..... try this and see if it works for you....

• Sounds like not long enough bake time. Brown outside could be temp too high. Dial on unit is only semi-accurate. Best to get an internal thermometer and verify required temp.
