• It cooks more evenly. Non flip waffle makers tend to cook more on the bottom than the top. When you flip, batter will spread out and hit both sides of griddle.

• Literally nothing. It’s just the design of the waffle maker and it absolutely does nothing different than a regular stand. It does the same job but I personally love the flip.
