• Yes. It functions with a button on the panel. It illuminates for approximately 30 seconds then goes off. You can repeat button press for additional illumination.

• Yes, there is. It has auto-shutoff on a timer because it automatically turns on when you open the door. There is also a button on the front to turn it on/off.
