- Answer I had the same problem that pin has a small hole in it that gets clogged with coffee grounds if you poke a needle through that hole it will fix the problem!

- Answer It holds enough water to make 3 to 4 coffees at the 12 cup setting. I usually fill it after 3 cups and it's never empty so you could probably get 4 out of it.
