No grinder settings. It is not hopper-fed and grinds the entire contents every time it runs; hrind is similar to countertop blade grinder (on the finer side of medium but lots of dust). You brew a half pot by using the appropriate amount of beans and water; since it tends to underexctract you'll probably take a couple times to figure the amount you actually need. Stopped using the built in grinder after a few days because it was more hassle than just using a separate one.
