Yes, the amount of beans ground is the same for each of the three options for brewing. I like dark roast coffee and prefer it a bit stronger than most…it meets my expectations.

Absolutely! I am a coffee snob and was worried my coffee would not be strong enough but I was wrong. So far this grinder grinds the right amount of beans for a delicious and flavorful 12oz cup of coffee.

No, it grinds the same amount each time but it does have three different brew sizes for strength of coffee, however I have not tried hitting the grind button again to see if it stops it.
