Q: Questiondoes the amount of beans that are ground match the size of the coffee cup selected?
Asked by ahunt.
- A:Answer Yes, the amount of beans ground is the same for each of the three options for brewing. I like dark roast coffee and prefer it a bit stronger than most…it meets my expectations.

Q: QuestionSince when using the K cup, the top does not get punctured with a single hole, but kinda gets ripped apart. Can you just open the K cup and brew the coffee using the grounds inside?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer My daughter told me that she has opened the Pods and put the grounds in the other cup for ground coffee and it worked for her. Just switch cups and use the one for ground coffee.

Q: QuestionMy unit works great with the grind and brew but but with k-cups, rather then puncturing the top, it tears through them leading to coffee with a ton of grinds in the cup. Is there a brand of k-cups I should be using?
Asked by MatthewW.
- A:Answer Mine does this too, no matter what brand I use. Sometimes you can use a pin to puncture a tiny hole and it might stop this but it helps about 50-50. I hate this coffee pot for this alone.
