• 30 minutes tops, in my experience. The consistency will be pretty creamy - like soft-serve ice cream - when it is done. Don't let it churn too long or it will end up tasting like butter. If you want it firmer, put the ice cream in containers in the freezer and let it firm up. Definitely buy containers.
