“How long does it take to get thick and do you put it in the freezer for a while after mixing?”

• Freezing takes 20 to 25 minutes. I scrape the finished ice cream intoplasic ziploc containers and put into the freezer. REAL ice cream will freeze hard, and may need to warm up a bit to be served. It also MELTS unlike most commercial ice cream that has artificial gums or thickeners.

• Takes about 20 minutes sometimes 30 depending on recipes used (Jenn Bauer Britton) makes excellent books btw….. I freeze my bowl overnight
