I use the selector at 10 cups on one of the mid-espresso grind settings. This provides around 3-4 2-shot baskets of grind (a couple days for me). At this rate, the hopper holds around a week's worth of beans.

That gives me 3 to 4 double-shot baskets worth. Since I normally have 2, 2-shot grandees each morning, I typically grind every other morning. It's nice to keep the grinds fairly fresh.
