“I know this product will protect a computer during a power outage. Will it also protect a telephone land line? Also, if there is a power outage can one still use their computer for a short length of time.”

Hello Jewel, This UPS does have an RJ11 port, which supports a telephone line. The runtime of the battery is dependent on the load being placed on it.
