Do you have to charge it up null

It recommends it in the user manual, but it also states it will have a state of charge that is “ready to use” upon opening.

For all of our battery backup unit we recommend charging the unit for at least eight hours with no connected equipment. Once the unit has completed charging you can connect the preferred devices and begin to use the connected devices. Great question!
