Its dependent on power use and wattage of chair. Now if in a power outage and you want you chair down to get up, I would say yes DEPENDENT ON VOLTAGE requirements of chair. I have multiple of these and newer models to protect my electronics so I can properly shut them down. On average constant power expect about an hour for the most expensive model and about ten to thirty minutes on with these mid range models. Also if you plug in a bunch of stuff like lights phone power adapters will result in a quicker draw with an alarm beep when low.

We recommend contacting the manufacturer of your lift chair for any recommendations. Thank you for submitting your question!

I'm not sure how many times you could use it with a power outage. Cyberpower model LX1500GU is rated at 1500va while this model is rated at 1000va. The LX1500 has a smaller footprint which I like. It cost about $50 more but would get more cycles out of it. I have both of these models and they are both nice and work great. I have the LX1500GU for my entertainment center which uses more power. This model i have 2 of them, 1 for my pc and the other for my router.
