“Can I use this as surge protector and back up battery for a refrigerator?”

• The user's manual for your unit says it cannot be use for high current drain equipment containing motors such as your refrigerator. Anything you could get to back up a refrigerator would cost many times ( 10 x or more) than the refrigerator you are trying to protect.
