Use a battery bank. Keep it charged for emergencies. If all you need is to charge your iPhone, this is more expensive and will not work as good as its converting 12 volts DC into 120 volts AC. The battery bank converts 12v to USB standard regulated power and will last alot longer. During a power outage, the battery on this UPS will drain whether you use it or not if it is left on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To me, it seems like overkill, but yes it should work. It was meant to keep a computer running for about 10 minutes in case of a power failure so it would power an iphone for some time. Check the USB charging jacks on the unit. I am not sure they are connected to the battery so you will need to use a power supply that comes with your iphone to do what you want to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A UPS would be able to charge your phone in the case of an outage but an ideal device for this usage would be a portable battery bank. If you have any other questions, please contact us at 877.297.6937. Thank you for submitting your questions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While this item would certainly work for keeping your iPhone charged, it might be an overkill. While you could keep a phone charged for days with this UPS Back-Up, it would not be very portable. I prefer something like this which would be portable and could charge your phone three or more times depending on which phone you have. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this for my security cameras. When power goes out, the system keeps recording. My old one lasted about 5 years. Just purchased this upgrade. It works fine.
