I have had quite a few backup systems over the years, but this has the best combination of outlets and stats in its price range.
It had an opportunity to prove itself a couple of weeks ago when the power went out. I was able to finish up my work on the computer (iMac) and save with no issues.
Here's a little tip for all backup blocks where space for various large plugs and bricks cannot find a home: I bought a six pack of cord extensions for cheap. They are basically a six inch long extension cord that gives you just enough length to allow you to use just about any size brick with no problem. Just search around for them. The photo shows the unit as part of my cable management system.

Good for lower power consumption devices

Working good so far to keep several lower powered devices (NAS, router, ISP modem) online and to allow an NAS to gracefully shut down when utility power goes out. While one can put desktops and other higher power consumption devices on this UPS, they may not stay powered by the battery for long.
The outlets are spaced slightly more apart than more expensive and capable UPS tower devices. However for some the orientation of the plugs themselves may mean putting larger plugs/wall warts on the top or bottom outlet. The solution, which I assume others do with other UPS units is to buy very short extension cables that allow one to use larger wall warts.
Battery IS user replaceable. The USB outlets ARE powered by the units battery when utility power is cut off. The Synology DSM program will properly use this device, when one connects the USB cable from the UPS's USB data port on the side of the unit to the Synology NAS's USB port.
Its important to understand that these lower end consumer UPS units are not designed to keep your equipment powered for hours at a time. They are designed for keeping equipment powered during short power outages and or allow one to gracefully shut down the computer or other device connected to the battery backup outlets. And it should be noted that most consumer level UPS units do not recommend connecting high power consumption devices like printers or microwaves to them.

The last one i had was solid, although the surge protection only side stopped worked 6 months past the 3 year warranty. But the USB connection to the computer and software always keeps me current on power use, and that the UPS is working correctly. Great protection, and works as intended. I wish I had the ability to turn the three plug connections sideways when I have long power connecters so it doesn't cover the connection next to it. All connections should have battery backup, not just one side, hence the 4 stars.

I added a second security system to my house and bought this backup power supply on sale from Best Buy. Although it is smaller and less capable than my other uninterruptable power supplies it works great for my living room TV, stereo, and accompanying camera system. Plus, it is slightly smaller and fit perfectly in the entertainment system.

UPS does what it is supposed to and the CyberPower PowerPanel Personal software is great, giving full configurability of the UPS' operational configuration. I like the power consumption metrics it calculates as well. I have dinged it 1 star because the mounting points on the underside do not come with any hardware or best practices/instructions for actually mounting. Took me a few tries to mount it properly to the underside of my standing desk.

This does what it's supposed to do, only negative thing is the fact that the internal battery is not secured in place so it clunks when handled. I use this to keep my tv in my semi truck from shutting off when the engine automatically starts. It works great.

If you do not have a UPS connected to your computer, you need to get one ASAP. These are vital pieces of equipment that can be the difference of having a presentation ready for work or having a corrupt file. I have learned this from experience and now I preach the importance of getting a UPS.
This system features 4 sockets that are battery protected and 4 that are just surge protected, as well as 2 USB Ports. These gives you a wide selection of ports to fit into any desktop configuration. Personally I would have the PC and monitor on Battery, and mostly everything else on Surge Protection. This will allow the maximum runtime for you pc so you can save and safely shut down the machine. You can also set up, with software, the ability for the UPS to trigger your computer to shut down automatically.
Overall, if you are looking for a decent UPS that isn't going to break the bank, this is a great option.

I recently purchased the CyberPower 650VA Battery Back-Up System from BestBuy, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. As someone who relies heavily on electronic devices and wants to safeguard them from power outages and voltage fluctuations, this battery backup system has proven to be a reliable and trustworthy solution.
First and foremost, the setup process was straightforward and hassle-free. The included instructions were clear and concise, allowing me to get the system up and running in no time. The compact design of the unit also made it easy to find a suitable place for it in my home office without taking up too much space.
In terms of performance, the CyberPower 650VA has exceeded my expectations. It provides ample backup power, allowing me to continue working seamlessly during brief power interruptions. This feature has been a lifesaver, as it has saved me from losing valuable data and prevented any disruptions in my work.
Furthermore, the battery backup system does an excellent job of regulating voltage fluctuations, ensuring a stable and consistent power supply to my devices. This is crucial for protecting sensitive electronics, such as computers, gaming consoles, and routers, from potential damage caused by sudden power surges or dips.
One aspect I particularly appreciate about the CyberPower 650VA is its audible alarms. They are not overly intrusive but provide timely notifications when the battery is running low or when there is a problem with the power source. This helps me stay aware of the system's status and take appropriate action when necessary.
Another noteworthy feature is the battery management software that comes with the unit. It allows me to monitor the battery's health, runtime, and other important parameters from my computer. This added convenience provides an extra layer of control and enhances the overall user experience.
As for the build quality, the CyberPower 650VA feels solid and well-made. The black color blends well with my office setup, giving it a sleek and professional look. The unit also comes with multiple outlets, accommodating various devices simultaneously, which is extremely convenient.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the CyberPower 650VA Battery Back-Up System to anyone seeking reliable power protection for their valuable electronics. Its ease of use, excellent performance, and thoughtful features make it an excellent investment. BestBuy provided a smooth purchasing experience, and I'm confident in the quality of the product. With this battery backup system in place, I no longer worry about unexpected power outages or voltage irregularities, allowing me to focus on my work with peace of mind.

I got this one for my mother. I've set it up with her phone and Wi-Fi router plugged in as well as her PC. Helps to have the bases covered during an outage or just a flicker and definitely a surge. Good pricing and will last several years. Well with every penny. I've owned one myself for a while now.

This is a must have item for anyone, especially if you live in an area where your power 'blinks', is interrupted by storms or people crashing in to power poles.
This product is very easy to use. Plug it into a wall outlet, let the battery backup to charge overnight then you can begin plugging your equipment into the outlets.
I have found CyberPower products to be very reliable in the past, so I expect the same for this unit.

We are pleased with this Battery Back-up / Surge Protector for our Internet Modem, our Wi-Fi unit and our laptop computer. It is a good size and easy to use. We feel we are ready for the next power outage -- we will have enough minutes of back-up power to be able to save what we're working on on our computer and keep the modem and wi-fi going while we methodically power down our computer.

Easy to use and worked like a charm with a power outage the day after I hooked it up. Surges and brownouts are hard on sensitive electronics. Worried about my smart TV, and already lost one ps4 to surge/brownout issues I brought this home to make sure to prevent future damage. The battery backup lasts long enough for me to play for a bit, or safely power off my electronics until power is restored.
