“When the power is out the device continues to beep. We are aware the power is out so how do you shut off the beeping sound?”

I haven’t figured out how to stop it but it’s irritating!

Please try again later.If you would like to mute the alarm function of this unit, quickly double press the power button when the unit is working normally and plugged into working power. When completed properly, the battery backup should give you a double beep to let you know the alarm has been muted.
